General practitioner and author of
Good Health in the 21st Century
Carole Hungerford is a general practitioner. She works in medical practices in Surry Hills and Bathurst, delivers medical lectures, assists in the training of new doctors, and lives between Balmain and the farm near Bathurst with her husband and adult children.
Published in 2006, Good Health in the 21st Century won the 2006 Brisbane Writers Festival award for Science Writing. She has since appeared regularly in several radio broadcasts, including for a time a weekly slot on 4BC Brisbane.
Her second book Headache published in June 2014 is set to revolutionise the understanding and treatments of chronic migraine and other headaches.
